CDC Updates Free iPad App
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated their CDC iPad app in the store recently with a small update bringing it to version 1.1. This is the CDCs first iPad app. The app helps you to explore health information including health articles, popular journals, social media, and regular updates. The app is a companion to the CDC’s official website (www.cdc.gov).
From the iTunes page here is whats new in version 1.1
– New content: Added Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR), Image Library, “Did You Know” facts, and access to more CDC social media channels.
– Minor enhancements and updates.
The mobile effort by the CDC brings its wealth of information and resources to the iPad giving easy touch access to the organizations health alerts, blogs, podcasts, and more.
The CDC App is free to download and can be found in the iTunes Store.
